"Flying Games"

I've staarted this thread, beacuse I want to know who plays some flight simulators. As you know, I like jets (or planes in general), but flying in BF2 is too arcade, too simple, and sometimes too annoying. So recentyl I installed, again, great game - Lock-On by Ubisoft.

This is the most realistic flight sim I've ever played, and it has incredible awesome graphics. And I've been playing many flight sims - Il-2 Sturmovik, Wings over Europe, Flanker 2.0, TFX (old one, but was very good), many games from Jane's. Oh, don't write about MS Combat Flight Simulator - it's sucks :)

But, these games are quite old, Does anyone know anything about other flight sims? Or what do you play? i don't know any better game then Lock-On, but maybe I missed something. So write your expereinces with flight sims.

Oh BTW, you should be happy that I can't fly that good in BF2 :D

I have many hours on lock on I usualy play with A-10
The other big flight sim is Falcon 4 with F-16 that lock dosent have
Anyway they are both great sims but a bit old so now i mostly play racing sims my favorite is gtr2
In bf the simulation of jets simply dosent exist lol

A little OT, but still connected with main thread.

Does anybody use cam2pan software ?? Or TrackIR system ?? :P I'm just curious how doeas it work ? I'm trying to test cam2pan right now, but i have little problems with my webcam.


EDIT:
i solved problem with my webcam and i tried cam2pan. It's awesome :) Freelook from cockpit without using mouse or pov. I miss only one thing - it works only in two axis: x&y, z-axis would be nice if it works as a zoom :) I know that TrackIR4Pro has it, but i don't have spare 150euro.

Anyway if you have webcam (320x240 resolution, min. 20fps) and want cheap alternative to TrackIR, cam2pan is good solution. It has settings to Forgotten Battles/Lock-on, FlightSimulator, and mouselook which you can use almost everywhere. I've tried it in BF2, but freelook in Bf is useless because it locks steering.
